On Valentines Day, the TechStyle Lab hosted a workshop run by body architect Lucy McRae. Through her work, McRae explores the relationship between the human body and technology, while focusing on the idea of the convergence of synthetic and organic materials. A small group of students gathered from 9-5 and participated in a variety of activities. Each student completed their own project as well, like Abby Steger's cowl neck piece called Spectrum (pictured above). During the workshop, another student experimented with the laser cutter and actually laid inside. The workshop used other technologies such as the body scanner.
